Often called the next Meridian. Same family-first feel, newer construction, more breathing room.

Brian's personal take
Five years ago most of my out-of-state clients wanted Meridian. Today a lot of them want Star instead. Same family suburbs, newer houses, and you're still close enough to Eagle that it doesn't feel like you moved out to the middle of nowhere. The riverfront is underrated.

You want established neighborhoods (try North Meridian or Eagle). You want acreage (Middleton is the better play). You want urban lifestyle (try Boise).

Star isn't for everyone
Star is for the buyer who looked at Eagle, loved the feel, and then looked at the price tag and started asking questions. If any of that's a mismatch, these three are where I'd start instead.
If you can stretch the budget and want the established community feel with mature landscaping and Legacy-level amenities, Eagle is worth the extra cost. Star is getting there. Eagle is already there.
If you want more land than Star currently offers and do not mind being a few minutes further west, Middleton has acreage properties and a rural feel that Star is slowly losing as it builds out.
If the commute to Boise or the airport matters and Star feels too far out, North Meridian puts you back on the freeway corridor with comparable new construction and stronger commercial amenities nearby.
The Blueprint call is 90 minutes. We'll walk through Star subdivisions, builders, and what you can get at your budget.
